At the RIPE 70 Meeting (11-15 May 2015), two RIPE Programme Committee (PC) members serving four-meeting terms will step down. Meeting attendees will vote to elect two new members to the RIPE PC.
We are seeking nominations for the new appointments. The nomination period runs up to the RIPE Meeting, at which point we will open the voting window.
Any person can nominate themselves for the RIPE PC.
The Charter of the RIPE Programme Committee provides more information about the composition and roles of the RIPE PC.
Interested parties should be available for +/- five teleconferences, as well as one in-person meeting at each RIPE Meeting, during their tenure.
We are now accepting nominations. Please send your nomination, with a candidate biography, statement of interest and photograph, to pc [at] ripe [dot] net.
We’ll receive nominations until 15:30 on Tuesday 12 May. At the closing of the nomination period, we’ll publish the candidate biographies on the RIPE Meeting website.
The PC elections and nomination process will be announced at the RIPE Meeting opening session, but interested parties can nominate themselves beforehand.
The RIPE PC online voting system will be open from 16:00 on Tuesday 12 May until 17:30 on Thursday 14 May.
Candidates, or stand-ins for candidates, can present themselves at the start of the Tuesday afternoon session (16:00 – 17:30).
We’ll announce the elected RIPE PC members on Friday 15 May at the start of the Closing Plenary session (11:00 – 12:30).
You can send any questions about the RIPE PC to pc [at] ripe [dot] net.
